Lemon Meringue Pie IIIngredients
Method Separate eggs. In bowl, beat egg yolks. Add sweetened milk, lemon juice and grated lemon rind to eggs. Pour egg mixture into pie crust. In a small bowl, whip egg whites with cream of tartar and salt, gradually adding sugar. Whip till stiff but not dry. Spread meringue on top of filling. Bake for 12-15 minutes in a 350°F oven till meringue is golden brown. Cool and keep pie refrigerated till serving time. |
